Permitting Basics
Every municipality requires the following items to be clearly labeled with callout arrows in your plot plans. Municiple-specific items to be added are identified in each section below:
- Pool Type, Envelope, and Depth Profile
- Benches
- Steps
- VGB Compliant Main Drain
- Equipment Pad
- Porta Porty
- Construction Access

Plot plans should be submitted with three views:
- Full Property
- Zoomed Partially
- Zoomed More
All permitting documents must be completed, signed/initialed appropriately by the homeowner, and uploaded with plot plans to the "Permitting Documents" folder in the appropriate project MS Teams channel.

- Plan must be superimposed on a Survey or GIS aerial view
- Show a minimum 15’ setback from the Mean High Water Line (MHWL) to the closest point of the pool, spa, or decking
- Indicate silt fence location
